Client Details A company operating in the industrial/manufacturing sector and based in Portsmouth. With close links to the M27, the offices are located in a highly commutable area for those who drive and also those travelling by public transport. Description Manage the daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Prepare and review financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes. Provide financial analysis to support decision-making across the business. Coordinate with external auditors and manage year-end audits. Identify process improvements to enhance financial workflows. Lead and support the finance team during the interim period.Profile A successful Interim Financial Controller should have: A strong background in accounting and finance within the industrial/manufacturing sector. Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA). Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and compliance. Proficiency in financial systems and tools. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders.Job Offer Daily rate between £425 and £500, dependent on the level of experience. Temporary contract.
