Mechanic/Motor Vehicle Technician -

*Job Summary*: We are a busy independent garage serving the village of Marnhull and surrounding areas for over 30 years. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanic to join our team in maintaining and repairing vehicles.

While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive maintenance.

Must be capable of working independently and and have excellent knowledge of modern diagnostic techniques and tools. Must be able to work to a high standard, we don't micro manage so you must be capable of checking your own work and getting things right first time.

*Duties*:- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify any potential problems- Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle issues- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed- Keep work area clean and organised

*Qualifications:*- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components- Excellent problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification

MOT tester is preferred but not essential. Support in gaining MOT qualification will be given to the right candidate
