Extensive experience within the music industry and HE sector, with a strong understanding of music education and experience of managing HE courses and delivering higher education teaching. Highly collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively with teaching artists and colleagues to deliver excellence in multidisciplinary performance training. Excellent people management, communication, digital, IT, time management and organisational skills, with the ability to solve problems effectively under pressure. Creative and innovative, with the ability to develop original ideas, support budget management and hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification/experience. Degree in relevant subject or equivalent qualification/experienceJob ResponsibilitiesProvide operational leadership for the department's strategic priorities and contribute to curriculum development across current and future programmes. Manage programme modules, including timetabling, assessments, material selection, schemes of work and associated resources. Deliver teaching across agreed curriculum areas, in line with relevant specialisms and departmental priorities. Coordinate student groups, lead weekly programme meetings, resolve issues and ensure a high-quality student experience.
