Quest Employment are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Highways Supervisor to join a well-established and growing highways maintenance team.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced supervisor looking for a long-term position with a competitive salary, regular daytime hours, and the chance to lead a dedicated team working on essential highways projects.The RoleAs a Highways Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily highways maintenance and repair operations, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervising highways operatives and subcontractors on sitePlanning and coordinating daily work activitiesEnsuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all timesConducting site inspections and quality checksManaging materials, equipment, and resources effectivelyLiaising with clients, local authorities, and internal teamsCompleting site documentation and reportsEnsuring projects are delivered on time and within budgetThe Ideal CandidatePrevious experience within highways maintenance, roadworks, or civil engineeringProven supervisory or team leadership experienceStrong understanding of health and safety legislationExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesFull UK Driving Licence (essential)Relevant industry qualifications (NRSWA, SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS)What's On Offer??
