Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Eye, Suffolk Days and Nights, 12 Hour Shifts £51,902 A leading manufacturing business is looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to their established engineering team at their Diss site. This is a great opportunity to join a busy production environment with long term stability, strong investment and a well-structured engineering function. The role will suit a mechanically biased engineer from a fast-paced manufacturing background who is confident working on breakdowns, PPMs and continuous improvement projects across production machinery and site equipment. Key Responsibilities: * Reactive and planned mechanical maintenance across site machinery. * Fault finding on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings and pneumatic systems. * Carrying out PPM work to minimise downtime and improve reliability. * Supporting production during breakdown situations to ensure targets are met. * Working closely with the wider engineering and production teams. * Assisting with machinery improvements and engineering projects. * Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site standards. Requirements: * Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment. * Strong mechanical fault finding and maintenance experience. * Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics would be beneficial. * Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment. * Engineering qualifications would be advantageous. * Open to working in Panama shifts, days and nights.
