Building Regulations Principal Designer

Job Overview Building Regulations Principal Designer job in Reigate, Surrey. This role supports high-risk commercial and residential projects within a growing architectural practice. The successful candidate will manage compliance, pre-construction health and safety responsibilities, and design coordination while working closely with internal teams, clients and enforcing authorities. Role & Responsibilities * Lead Principal Designer responsibilities across projects * Coordinate pre-construction health and safety matters * Review project information for regulatory compliance * Prepare pre-construction information documentation * Liaise with clients and enforcing authorities Skills & Experience Required * ARB registered Architect with 5+ years’ experience * Experience on high-risk building projects * Strong construction health and safety knowledge * Ability to review design risk assessments * AutoCAD or Revit experience preferred Salary & Benefits * £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience * Hybrid or remote flexibility available * Flexible working hours offered * Pension and professional development support * Laptop and social events provided About Hunter Dunning Hunter Dunning is a specialist property and built environment recruitment consultancy established in 2004, focused on quality and long-term partnerships in the UK and Ireland property and construction market.
