Injection Moulding Setter Operator

A well-established and forward-thinking process equipment manufacturer is seeking a Plastic Injection Moulding Setter / Operator to join their team. Operating in a fast-paced, high-spec production environment, they supply a diverse range of industries with technically demanding components. £16.78/hr, 40 hours per week, double day shift (rotating weekly between 06:00 - 14:00, and 14:00 - 22:00 Working in a highly automated department, the Injection Moulding Setter / Operator will be responsible for ensuring machines and automation equipment run efficiently. Key duties for the Injection Moulding Setter / Operator: Setting up, running, and optimising moulding machines and automation systems. Carrying out safety checks and undertaking basic maintenance activities. Loading and unloading mould tools safely and efficiently. Troubleshooting production and process issues in a structured, proactive way. Completing first-off and last-off inspections, ensuring sampling meets SOP and quality standards. To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter Operator, the ideal candidate will: Have previous experience as a Setter, Technician, or Moulding Operator in a plastic injection moulding environment.
