About the role
Our client, an established independent garage located in Micheldever, Hampshire, is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their team. The Vehicle Technician will be responsible for delivering high standards of vehicle servicing and repairs across a varied fleet, including cars, minibuses, and light commercial vehicles. Benefits:
Up to £31,400 basic salary, with an OTE of approximately £34,400, depending on experience
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00 – 16:30; Friday, 08:00 – 16:00

Overtime paid at time and a halfDuties of a Vehicle Technician:
Conducting vehicle servicing and repairs on a range of vehicles including cars, minibuses, and light commercial vehicles
Diagnosing faults and conducting fault-finding procedures
Performing visual health checks and inspections
Using diagnostic tools such as Autodata for system analysis
Completing work efficiently to meet company standards and deadlines
Preparing vehicles for MOT testing and conducting tests when qualified
Executing additional tasks as requested to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety
Maintaining high standards of vehicle presentation and workshop cleanlinessRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Minimum qualification of City and Guilds AVCE, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent experience
Full UK driving licence
Own toolkit sufficient to carry out vehicle repairs and servicing
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Positive attitude and a proactive approach to customer service
MOT testing licence is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided for the right individualindividuals interested in this Vehicle Technician role should ensure they provide a contact number for consideration.
