Residential Support Worker | LE67 | £30,143–£31,370 + £71.28 sleep‑in | Full‑time, rota‑based Benefits * Salary up to £31,370 (qualified) * £71.28 per sleep‑in * Fully funded Level 3/4 Diploma (if not already qualified) * Clear progression to Senior Residential Support Worker * Ongoing training, supervision & development * Supportive, values‑led children’s residential care team We’re recruiting a Residential Support Worker to join a children’s residential care home in LE67, supporting young people to feel safe, valued and confident. This Residential Support Worker role is ideal for a caring support worker with experience in children’s residential care—or someone ready to build a long‑term career supporting young people with complex needs. What you’ll do * Deliver high‑quality residential childcare in line with Children’s Homes Regulations * Provide consistent 1:1 emotional and practical support * Act as key worker and support individual care plans * Promote independence, positive behaviour and wellbeing * Support education, hobbies and community involvement * Maintain accurate records and contribute to team meetings What we’re looking for * Experience as a support worker in children’s residential care (preferred) * Calm, resilient and child‑focused approach * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Level 3/4 Diploma in Children & Young People (or willingness to work towards it) * UK driving licence (desirable) Working pattern * Full‑time, rota‑based * Early, late, weekend, bank holiday & sleep‑in shifts If you’re a Residential Support Worker ready to make a genuine difference in children’s residential care, apply today.
