Project Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer to join a specialist subcontractor delivering a major package of works on a flagship construction project South of Bristol. The successful candidate will oversee engineering operations associated with a substantial reinforced concrete and concrete pad package valued in excess of £100 million, while managing a team of approximately 10 engineers on site. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate engineering teams across multiple work fronts Review technical drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies Ensure quality assurance and technical compliance throughout delivery Support planning and programme management activities Coordinate subcontractors and site teams effectively Maintain accurate engineering records and reporting systems Promote best practice in health, safety, and technical delivery Candidate Requirements Strong heavy construction, infrastructure, or civils engineering background Demonstrable reinforced concrete experience is essential Previous experience managing engineering teams on major projects Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a large project environment Essential Qualifications Degree / HNC / HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline CSCS Card SMSTS or SSSTS preferred Relevant engineering and setting out experience O’Neill and Brennan values diversity and promotes equality, All individuals will be treated in a fair and equal manner and in accordance with the law regardless of gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation
