RATES:

• Monday Friday:

  Days 06:00 17:59 (First 45 hours worked) £17.50ph
  Days after 45 hours worked £20.00ph
• Nights 18:00 05:59 £20.00ph
  Nights after 45 hours worked £22.50ph
• Weekend:
  From 06:00 Saturday 06:00 Monday £23.00ph
• Bank Holidays:
  £23.00ph

Estimated weekly pay based on 45 shifts (approx. 4860 hours): £900 £1,250
Expected annual earnings: up to £50k£60k (dependent on shifts worked)

DUTIES:

• Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Operating temperature-controlled (refrigerated) vehicles to transport goods safely.
• Ensuring loads are secured and temperature compliance is maintained.
• Completing deliveries to RDCs and distribution points.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects to the Transport Office.
• Possess excellent customer-facing awareness skills.
• Be a good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised.
• Possess an enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first-class customer service.
• Must have good communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude to work.

Requirements:

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Digi Tacho & CPC cards
• Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
• Experience with temperature-controlled vehicles or similar preferred
• Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Drivers Hours)
• Good geographical awareness
• Possess excellent customer-facing awareness skills
• Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised
• Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first-class customer service
• Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude
