Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (pro rata)
Contract: 6 month contract
Overview
We are partnering with a growing, project led organisation to recruit a Management Accountant for an initial 3 month contract. This is a hands on role suited to someone who can quickly take ownership, support operational teams, and deliver high-quality financial insight in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Produce monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet reporting
Monitor project performance, analysing costs and identifying variances
Support budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple projects
Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight on costs and profitability
Assist with tender pricing and commercial decision-making
Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with internal policies
Drive process improvements and enhance reporting accuracy
Key Requirements
Previous experience in a Management Accountant role within a project-based environment
Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or QBE
Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
Proactive, organised, and able to meet deadlines
