Accounts Assistant

A stable and growing engineering business in Tamworth is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and long-standing team. To be considered, you will need demonstrable relevant accounts / bookkeeping experience and be available to start immediately or at short notice. What’s in it for you £28,000 - £30,000 salary depending on experience Early finish every Friday Stable and growing engineering business Friendly and supportive working environment Long standing team with low staff turnover Varied role with responsibility and autonomy Permanent full time opportunity As the Accounts Assistant, your duties will include: Producing daily and monthly Management Reports including KPI, sales and efficiency reporting Processing Sales Orders and raising Sales invoices using the Mietrak MRP system Managing Purchase Ledger activities including invoice matching, reconciliations and supplier queries Preparing weekly and monthly payroll reports for management approval Supporting with Management Accounts preparation including WIP reporting Assisting with wider office administration, stakeholder queries and maintaining finance records The successful Accounts Assistant will have: Proven relevant Accounts experience Previous experience using Sage 200, Xero or similar systems Strong organisational skills and attention to detail AAT qualification or studying towards AAT would be advantageous A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle if commuting from outside of Tamworth If you are an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a stable opportunity with a growing business and an immediate start available, apply today.
