Welder Fabricator

Location: Sheffield

Basic Salary: £15.91 per hour

(First 36 hours) £21.30 per hour after.

Lots of Overtime available

• (Weekdays/Weekends)

Reporting to: Site Supervisor

Shifts: Days, Full time - (Monday to Friday) (Typically, 45+ hour working week) Monday to Thursday 7.00 am till 3.30 pm & Friday 7.00 am till 3.00 pm.

The successful candidate will undertake the primary role of Welder Fabricator by our client's procedures, supporting operations and assisting with any other associated duties required, while working on a wide variety of safety-critical and bespoke products.

Responsibilities for the Welder Fabricator role:

• MiG welding of mild steel
• Fabrication, building, finishing and assembly of parts and products in line with engineering drawings.
• Demonstrate ability to Inspect welds for accuracy.
• Other associated duties may be required to carry out the responsibilities of this position.
• The ability to follow written instructions and keep records

Qualifications & Experience:

• A recognised qualification in welding and fabrication 3 to 5 years minimum work experience as a fabricator or time served (Mig welding only)
• Previous experience in fabricating tanks and vessels Desirable
• Use of powered rollers, and other manual machines, Shredders, and presses
• Be able to demonstrate working to engineering drawings.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Ability to problem solve.
• A safety-conscious approach to work, the ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Good concentration levels
• The ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Good practical skills
• The ability to follow written instructions and keep records.
