This is a hands-on role offering long-term stability and responsibility, including running the kitchen independently when required.

Working Pattern Rota-based across 7 days (including weekends) Typically 35 shifts per week 12-hour shifts Key Responsibilities Assist with food preparation and meal service Run the kitchen independently in the Chefs absence Maintain cleanliness, including washing up duties Complete daily logs and ensure compliance paperwork is up to date Follow COSHH, Environmental Health, and Health & Safety procedures Support stock control and basic ordering Requirements Previous kitchen experience (care, school, or contract catering preferred) Ability to work independently and take xwzovoh initiative Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards Willingness to take on responsibility beyond a typical assistant role Reliable, hardworking, and flexible Whats on Offer Permanent, full-time position Stable working environment Opportunity to take on responsibility and develop Immediate interviews available
