Telescopic Forklift Operator

Telescopic Forklift Operator needed in Stevenage Location: Stevenage Rate: £21.50 per hour Duration: 5-6 months plus Hours: 7:30am to 5:00pm Paid Hours: 9 hours paid per day Job Type: Temporary Stridden Limited are recruiting on behalf of an established contractor who are looking for an experienced Telescopic Forklift Operator to join their busy site in Stevenage. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and skilled operator who is confident working on a busy construction site and happy to muck in with the wider team when plant duties are quiet. Key Duties: As a Telescopic Forklift Operator, your duties will include: * Operating a Telescopic Forklift safely and efficiently * Unloading material deliveries and distributing materials around site as required * Ensuring site teams have the materials they need to keep work moving * Completing and maintaining plant inspection sheets * Following site health and safety procedures at all times * Assisting the team with general site duties when not operating plant Requirements: Applicants must have: * Minimum CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification — blue card preferred * Experience operating a Telehandler on a fast paced busy site * Valid CSCS card * Good attitude and willingness to support the site team * Physically fit and capable of manual handling * Ability to commute to site reliably * 1 reference available on application Equal Opportunities: Stridden Limited are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all individuals, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or background.
