HGV Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Paddock Wood, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver who is also happy to take on hands-on yard duties alongside driving responsibilities. Job Details:  Role: HGV Class 2 Driver + Yard Operative duties when needed  Location: Paddock Wood,Kent  Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour PAYE via Pertemps - weekly pay  Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 No weekends Type: Ongoing temp work with potential temp-to-perm opportunity As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your role will include: Driving a Class 2 / Category C vehicle for local deliveries and collections Assisting in the yard when driving duties are quiet Helping to move pallets around the yard safely and efficiently Supporting the team with loading and unloading vehicles when required Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with road safety regulations Working as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations  This is a varied role ideal for a hands-on HGV Class 2 Driver who enjoys both driving and warehouse/yard involvement. Requirements: To be considered for this HGV Class 2 Driver position, you must have: Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Previous experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver (min. 1 year)  A positive, flexible and can-do attitude Willingness to support with yard duties and manual handling Good understanding of driver hours and regulations    What’s on Offer:  Competitive hourly rate of £16.50 PAYE - weekly pay!  Monday to Friday schedule – no weekend work!
