Qualified Social Worker

We are looking for a number of qualified social workers for both children's and adult local authority temporary and ongoing contracts across West Berkshire. There are ongoing roles available across a variety of teams, with roles from newly qualified to senior level. For this particular role working pattern is hybrid (40% in office), however you would be expected to be on a duty rota once or twice a week in the office and then community visits in between. The Locality Team are looking for a qualified Social Worker to provide high quality and effective social work service. You will be expected to respond to people with a range of needs and disabilities, working with them and their careers and families in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines. To undertake suitable work as required in relation to: • Safeguarding • Mental Capacity • Deprivation of Liberty • Assessment and management of risk. • CHC All assessments and support plans will be completed in accordance with the principles of the Care Act 2024 and reflect a strengths-based approach.
