Warehouse FLT Operative Wanted - Consistent Work & Weekly Pay Location: Uckfield | Rotating Shifts (Subject to change) Earlies | Mon - Fri: 06:00 - 13:00 Lates | Mon - Fri: 11:00 - 19:00 The Best Connection is a recruitment agency, and this position is being offered on a Temporary basis. Job Summary We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative to support a busy print factory in Uckfield. This is a hands-on role suited to someone reliable, organised, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth goods‑in, stock control, and internal logistics between the warehouse and production areas. This position is offered on a temporary basis through The Best Connection, eventually leading to a permanent contract after a successful period. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Receiving, checking, and booking in stock including paper, inks, and consumables Managing goods‑in and dispatch operations Maintaining accurate stock records through daily physical counts Strapping completed work and organising daily movement between factories Producing a simple daily stock report, including: Completed stock counts Internal stock transfers (warehouse machines) Replenishment requirements from suppliers Daily (or twice‑daily, volume‑dependent) house sheet and paper stock checks Liaising with production teams to prioritise work and resolve shortages Replenishing stock to ensure uninterrupted workflow Operating a counterbalance FLT to ensure stock is moved safely around the workshop (Please note: duties may vary depending on operational requirements.) Health & Safety: Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety policies and procedures Remain vigilant, alert, and aware of surrounding risks at all times Preferable for this position but not essential: Access to own vehicle Requirements: Right to work in the UK.
