Job Description RABI is the farmers charity. \n \nRABI supports farming people across England, Wales and NI with expert, one-to-one practical, financial and emotional help, all year round. From confidential advice and mental health support to direct financial assistance, their tailored services respond to the unique challenges of farming life.\n \nAt the heart of RABI's mission is a commitment to strengthening resilience; helping farming people feel valued, supported and better equipped to navigate uncertainty and change. RABI is working to close the farming wellbeing gap and build a future where farming people can thrive.\n \nOver the past 25 years alone, RABI has delivered almost £250 Million in direct financial support to the farming community, whilst the charity's professional counselling service has provided 11,500 free sessions to farming people since 2022. RABI's wrap-around support services continue to evolve, reaching more people year on year.\n \nRABI is on a journey to help shape a future farmers deserve.\n Key Purpose: \n \nThe Business Development team leads and co-ordinates pilot service projects for RABI.\n \nThis role would include supporting the Business Development Team in the planning and management of a major new pilot project.\n \nThe role will involve an element of cross departmental working, to ensure both the smooth running of the project, but also the development of it to ensure it reaches its full potential.\n \nBuilding and maintaining successful working relationships both internally and externally and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery are essential to the role.\n Key Responsibilities: \n \n \n Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and tracking project activities and milestones. \n Maintain and update detailed project documentation, including risk logs, Gantt charts, and status reports. \n Coordinate and minute project meetings, circulate actions, and follow up with stakeholders \n Support the development and submission of internal and external progress reports. \n Stakeholder & Team Support \n \n \n Liaise with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to support timely delivery of tasks. \n Maintain strong, professional communication with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals. \n Organise events, workshops, or training sessions as required. \n Monitoring & Evaluation \n \n \n Support data collection and performance monitoring in collaboration with the project team. \n Assist in capturing lessons learned, project reviews, and evaluation activities. \n Be an ambassador for Business Development internally within RABI and with external organisations. \n Demonstrate commitment to Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity and Health and Safety promoting a safe and inclusive environment. \n Undertake any other responsibilities commensurate with the post which management representatives may require. \n Person Specification: \n Essential \n \n \n High computer literacy and technical skills including the use of Microsoft 365 programmes, databases and CRM systems. \n Preparing data and samples to support with Departmental and Organisational reporting. \n Good ability to manage feedback and data reporting skills. \n Excellent communication skills and ability to understand and translate complex information to a variety of audiences. \n The ability to work with people at all levels with tact and diplomacy. \n Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage own workload and priorities. \n Affinity with the goals and objectives of RABI. \n Flexible, resilient and solution focussed working with sensitivity, integrity and without prejudice. \n \n Desirable \n \n \n Farming background or knowledge of the farming community environment. \n \n \nThis role profile is not exhaustive and is subject to review in conjunction with the post holder according to future developments at RABI.\n \nEarly applications are encouraged for this position as shortlisting and interviews will take place on a rolling basis.
