WearerecruitingforanAudit&AccountsSeniortojoinaregionalfirmofCharteredAccountantsbasedinChesterfield.Theroleinvolvesprovidingeffectivesupporttodirectorsandmanagers,ensuringworkiscompletedtoahightechnicalstandard,deadlinesaremetandstrongclientserviceismaintained.Youwilltakeresponsibilityforleadingauditassignmentsandcompletingaccountingworkinlinewiththefirmsprocedures.
KeyResponsibilities
Leadauditfieldworkassignments,includingplanning,budgetingandorganisingworkpriortocommencement
Completeaudittestingonkeyriskareasandliaisewithclientstoresolvequeries,escalatingcomplexmatterswhererequired
Reviewworkcompletedbytraineestoensureitisreadyformanager/directorreview
Worktointernalandexternaldeadlines,ensuringfilesarecompletedtotherequiredstandard
Preparestatutoryfinancialstatements(primarilyunderUKGAAP)anddrafttaxcomputations
Providecoachingandconstructivefeedbacktojuniorteammembers
Maintainahighstandardofclientcareandcommunication
Assistwithbillingprocessesandmonitoringrecoveries
Ensurecompliancewiththefirmsqualityassuranceprocedures
Identifyopportunitiesforadditionalservicesandbegindevelopingexternalnetworks
Skills&Experience
ACAorACCAqualified
Experienceplanningandleadingexternalauditswithinanaccountancypractice
Goodtechnicalknowledge,includingFRS102(CharitiesSORPexperiencebeneficial)
ProficientinMicrosoftOffice,particularlyExcel,WordandPowerPoint
Experienceusingauditsoftware(MyWorkpapersadvantageous) xwzovoh
