Senior Systems Engineer – Space Sector Location: London (Hybrid) Space & Satellite Technology We’re working with an innovative company in the space sector who are looking to bring in a Senior Systems Engineer to support the delivery of cutting-edge satellite and space-based projects. This is a key role sitting at the heart of complex engineering programmes – ideal for someone who enjoys seeing the full system come together, from concept through to launch. The role: You’ll be responsible for leading systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure performance, integration, and delivery. What you’ll be doing: Leading system architecture, requirements, and design activities Managing requirements capture, validation, and verification Supporting integration, testing, and system-level analysis Acting as a technical point of contact across engineering teams Driving best practice in systems engineering processes What they’re looking for: Proven experience in a systems engineering role (ideally senior level) Background in aerospace, defence, or space sector projects Strong understanding of the full systems lifecycle (V-model) Experience with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS) Ability to work across multidisciplinary engineering teams Why join?
