Senior Technical Subsidence Surveyor

Working from a home base you will be the technical lead on the more complex domestic and commercial subsidence claims, providing expert guidance to colleagues and clients. * Managing complex subsidence investigations from first visit to final resolution * Visiting damaged properties to assess structural, technical and insurance related issues * Designing and overseeing stabilisation schemes and repair strategies * Producing high quality technical reports, specifications and tender documents * Interpreting geotechnical investigations and advising on foundation solutions * Administering building contracts, valuations and variations * Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, Planning, CDM and Party Wall legislation * Working closely with policyholders, insurers, loss adjusters, contractors and local authorities * Supporting and mentoring colleagues, and contributing to training delivery * Maintaining accurate case records and meeting service level expectations About you: * Our client is seeking someone with the technical depth and confidence to handle highly complex subsidence cases. You will ideally have: * MRICS or MCIOB or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Surveying or a related discipline * Strong experience in subsidence investigation and building pathology * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Solid understanding of buildings insurance, contract administration and construction law * UK driving licence
