Trend BMS Engineer - Remote

An established technology business specialising in cloud-based IoT, energy management and building automation solutions is seeking an experienced Trend BMS Engineer for an initial six-month contract. This fully remote role will involve managing, maintaining and optimising Trend building management systems while supporting customers and internal teams with technical issues, system performance and connectivity. The successful contractor will configure and maintain IQ Vision, export data into other systems, analyse performance and recommend improvements. Whats on offer Competitive day-rate contract Initial 6 month engagement Fully remote working from anywhere in the UK Opportunity to work with an innovative IoT and energy-management platform Exposure to modern building automation technologies and protocols Collaborative environment with a strong focus on technical improvement Potential to cross-train across additional control systems and languages What you need Strong commercial experience working with Trend BMS systems Proven experience configuring and maintaining IQ Vision Experience using SET to maintain and manage Trend BMS environments Good knowledge of HVAC systems, controls and building automation Experience exporting Trend data into other platforms or systems Strong system-analysis, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to identify performance issues and recommend practical improvements Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills A customer-focused and results-driven approach Previous exposure to Tridium, EDPAC, Modbus or BACnet would be advantageous Experience within facilities management or another fast-paced technical environment would be beneficial Must be based in the UK and able to work remotely for the duration of the contract TPBN1_UKTJ
