Plant Mechanic

Plant Mechanic / Engineer Based in Norwich · Salary 50k (Monday to Friday) no on call Full–time Audited members of BCSA, RIDBA, and CONSTRUCTIONLINE, carrying their assurance of our competence and financial standing we require a Plant Mechanic/Engineer to attend any local site(s) of the company to diagnose and repair any broken-down or defective item of construction plant/vehicle. Maintain, Service and Repair of all Heavy Plant machinery. Jobs includes welding and fabrication work, electrical diagnostics, hydraulics and basically anything that's required To comply always with the Health and Safety documentation presented (including COSHH) and to undertake all daily tasks in strict compliance with Safe Working Procedures (SWPs’) and Risk Assessments (RA’s). To undertake any other task(s) as reasonably requested by senior management. Plant equipment includes, but not limited to: • On site Combi lifts and Side loaders. • Telehandlers. • Genie and Manitou access platforms/scissor lifts. • Liebherr Mobile Crane(s). • HGV Tractor Unit(s). • HGV Articulated Trailer(s) – including ‘trombone’ and ‘rear-steer’ units. • LGV’s and Panel Vans. • Passenger vehicles and Pick-up Trucks.
