£13.05 per hour paid weekly!
Full time hours, working 5 out of 7 days
We're recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to work on behalf of the local authority, the successful candidate will be working across the outdoor markets within the Kirklees district. This is a varied role in which you'll be providing frontline operational support to visitors and traders, as well as supporting with the facilities and manual work.
The successful candidate will need a valid drivers licence to travel to different locations within Huddersfield and Dewsbury.
What you'll be doing -
Opening, securing and closing market facilities.
Setting up and dismantling market stalls and equipment.
Supporting traders, customers and visitors with excellent customer service.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across market sites.
Undertaking basic maintenance and operational checks.
What we're looking for -
Previous experience within a facilities/maintenance role
Able to provide a high level of customer service
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather types
Able to work in a physically active/manual handling environment
Able to travel between sites in the Kirklees area
Hours of work -
5 out of 7 days, weekend work is required for the role
Full time hours- 37.5 per week
This is a temporary contract role for the next 6 months at least, with potential to go permanent or extend depending on business requirements.
