Sales Executive
About the role
Brook Street are partnered with one of our esteem clients based in Knaresborough who are seeking a creative and driven Sales Executive with a passion for interiors to join their luxury showroom on a full-time perm basis. This is a customer‑facing role focused on building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service to a diverse client base, including Retail End Users, Architects, Interior Designers, Showroom Partners, and Contractors.
The primary objective of the role is to drive sales growth while ensuring the company is positioned as the stone supplier of choice.

The role
- Full time perm position
- Monday- Friday 9:00am- 5:00pm, Saturday 9.00am until 3.00pm with a day off in the week. You will be expected to work every Saturday for the first few months to learn the role, then will be put on a rota.
- Salary on offer: £30,000 per annum with uncapped commission.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and guide customers through the luxury showroom experience
- Help customers navigate and understand product ranges
- Prepare detailed and accurate quotations and cost calculations
- Proactively achieve and exceed individual and showroom sales targets
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams
- Present products confidently, explaining features, benefits, and design concepts
- Prospect and introduce new clients to the business. xwzovoh
- Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with existing clients
- Manage timelines efficiently and close sales in a timely manner
- Contribute positively as a proactive team member within the showroom
- Maintain accurate records using CRM systems
- Support customer communication and social media with strong written content
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in luxury retail or a high‑end customer‑facing environment
- Strong selling and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good numeracy skills with attention to detail
- Computer literate (Navision, Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to work closely and collaboratively within a small team
- Understanding of design concepts, colour, and interiors
- Experience working with architectural or technical drawings (desirable)
- Ability to quantify from technical drawings (desirable)
