Contentious Probate Solicitor - Legal 500 Firm - Berkshire

A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in Berkshire is seeking an experienced Contentious Probate Solicitor to join its specialist private client disputes team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex and high-value contentious probate matters within a supportive firm offering clear progression, hybrid working, and a competitive salary package.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of contentious probate and trust disputes, including:

• Will validity challenges, inheritance claims, and estate disputes
• Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975
• Trust disputes and disputes involving executors and beneficiaries
• Advising clients at pre-action stage and through to litigation and resolution
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and court documents
• Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
• Working closely with colleagues in the wider private client team

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in contentious probate or private client litigation
• Strong technical knowledge and litigation experience
• Confident managing matters independently
• Excellent communication, drafting, and client management skills
• Commercially minded and motivated to progress within a leading firm
