HSE Advisor

Location: Southern England (M3 corridor / Portsmouth / Southampton region)

Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 + Car or allowance

About the Role:

We’re partnering with a leading construction organisation to find an ambitious HSE Advisor ready to take on a hands-on and influential role. This is a chance to step into a business that’s at an exciting stage of development where your ideas and input will genuinely shape how HSE is delivered across multiple sites in the South of England.

You’ll work alongside an experienced HSE leadership team, supporting the roll-out of new systems, strengthening compliance, and driving engagement at every level. This role would suit someone who wants to grow their career in an environment that values initiative, encourages development, and gives you the space to make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and roll-out of HSE systems across several businesses
• Carry out site inspections, audits, and ensure site compliance
• Provide practical health and safety support to site teams
• Advise on legal compliance and best practice
• Drive a positive safety culture and promote engagement at all levels
• Liaise with senior stakeholders to improve overall safety performance

What We’re Looking For:

• 1-2 years HSE experience
• Must have a background within construction (e.g. housebuilding, scaffolding, roofing or similar)
• NEBOSH or equivalent qualification
• Confident communicator with a proactive and hands-on approach
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites across the Southern region
