About the Company
This organisation is a bold, forward-thinking manufacturer with a passion for excellence in product design, sales, and production. Over the past 12 years, the business has achieved significant growth in revenue and output, with ambitious plans in place to accelerate even further.
The brand is widely recognised across the UK and Europe for its premium quality, exceptional performance, and unbeatable aftercare. With new product launches and continued investment in innovation, this is a fantastic time to join a business that’s shaping the future of the Arboriculture industry.
The Role
You will be working in the workshop, servicing, diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment. That includes strip-down, rebuild, fault-finding and getting loan equipment back out the door in good order.
The work covers hydraulics, engines and electronics. You will be hands-on from day one.
A second position is also available at a senior level (£40,000 to £45,000), which carries team leader responsibilities. If you have the experience and want a bit more ownership over how things run, that one may suit you better.
What you will be doing:
- Machine check-overs on loan equipment.
- Nut and bolt strip-downs and full refurbishments.
- Fault diagnosis and repair of broken machinery.
- MIG welding as part of the repair process.
- Rewiring and basic electronic assembly work.
What you need to bring:
- Strong mechanical knowledge with relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with plant, machinery or similar mechanical equipment.
- Experience working in a workshop environment.
- Full UK driving licence.
The ideal candidate:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Practical, hands-on and solutions focused.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Pride in delivering high-quality work.
What you can expect in return
Your salary will reflect what you are actually capable of. If you perform well, you will progress. There is no fixed ceiling. xwzovoh
