We're working with a well-established and growing distributor in the flooring and interiors sector who is looking for a friendly, proactive Sales Assistant to join their team. This is more than just a counter role — you'll be at the heart of the business, speaking with customers, handling enquiries, and helping drive sales in a fast-paced, supportive environment.   What You'll Be Doing Be the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and the trade counter Respond to enquiries, process orders, and prepare quotes Offer product advice and recommend the best solutions Build strong relationships with trade customers and repeat clients Support with upselling and cross-selling opportunities Keep customers updated on orders, delays, and deliveries Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented trade counter Work towards individual and team sales targets What We're Looking For Experience in retail, trade counter, or customer service Confident communicator with a friendly, can-do attitude Someone who enjoys speaking to people and solving problems Basic IT skills (email, Office 365, order systems) Sales experience is a bonus — but attitude is everything Willingness to learn about products and build industry knowledge What's In It For You?
