WehaveanopportunityforaSeniorFirmware/HardwareEngineertojointheorganisationatapivotalpointinitsjourney.Thisroleisheavilyweightedtowardsembeddedfirmwareandwillplayakeypartintakingownershipoffirmwaredevelopment,reducingrelianceonexternalconsultancies,andsupportingtheevolutionofamedicaldeviceplatformalreadyapproachingdesignfreeze.
Keyresponsibilities
LeadembeddedfirmwaredevelopmentforMCU-basedsystems,includingreal-timedataacquisitionandcommunicationinterfaces
Takeownershipoffirmwareacrosstheproductlifecycle,fromdevelopmentthroughtoverification,validation,andreleaseunderdesigncontrol
DevelopandmaintainsystemsinlinewithIEC62304andsupportcompliancewithIEC60601-1
Supportongoingproductupdates,patches,andnext-generationdevelopmentonanestablishedplatform
Workcloselywithhardware,systems,andexternalpartnerstoensurerobustintegrationanddelivery
Experienceandskillsrequired
StrongexperienceinembeddedfirmwaredevelopmentusingC/C++onMCU-basedsystems
Provenexperienceworkingwithinmedicaldevicesorotherregulatedenvironments,withhands-onexposuretoIEC62304andIEC60601-1
Experiencetakingproductsthroughdevelopmentintorelease,includingworkunderdesigncontrol
Strongunderstandingofreal-timedataacquisitionandembeddedsystemarchitecture
Abilitytotakeownershipoffirmwaredevelopmentandoperateasaseniortechnicallead xwzovoh
Nicetohave
