Infrastructure Engineer

Title: Infrastructure Engineer Location: Penarth (5 days a week for first 3 months) Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 Summary: We're hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of a well-established cloud and internal IT environment within a growing SaaS tech business. It's a great opportunity for someone who wants full ownership of infrastructure rather than being a small part of a bigger team. You'd be managing a stable cloud environment but also the wider IT estate, so you get that mix of cloud and hands-on responsibility. You'll work closely with leadership and gradually take over the full infrastructure function. It suits someone who enjoys improving systems rather than constantly firefighting or rebuilding from scratch. Key Responsibilities: Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure Maintain Linux and Windows environments Oversee backups, disaster recovery and system resilience Manage DNS, CDN and edge services (Cloudflare) Own internal IT systems, hardware and security Improve monitoring, automation and operational efficiencyWhy apply?
