Mobile Plant Operative

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Mobile Plant Operative to join Veolia on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities * Manage the frontline operative duties including monitoring the weighbridge and general housekeeping. * Undertaking the mechanical transfer of waste for onward transportation. * Operating all mobile and fixed plant that you are trained on inline with company policy. * Ensuring compliance with site permit/odour management plan * Routine maintenance and cleaning of plant machinery with logging of defects and machine hours accordingly. * Inspect incoming loads to ensure they comply with the relevant paperwork and site permit. Essential Requirements * Experience in the waste industry would be an advantage. * Forklift licence would be desirable. * Strong organisational and time management skills with a good team ethic Please apply with an up to date CV ASAP if this role would be of interest to you
