Diagnoseandrepairfaultsaffectingcommercialplumbing,heatingandmechanicalsystems.

Maintainpumps,pressurisationunits,expansionvessels,calorifiers,boostersets,valvesandassociatedplant.

Repairdomestichotandcold-waterservices.

ServiceTMVsandsupportwaterhygieneandLegionellacontrolactivitieswithintheengineerscompetence.

Undertakeminormechanicalinstallationandremedialworks.

Identifytheunderlyingcauseoffaultsandrecommendappropriateremedialactiontoreducerepeatfailures.

RecordworkaccuratelyandpromptlyusingCamdensCAFMsystemandissuedmobiletechnology.

Worklivebyupdatingjobs,materials,findingsandcompletiondetailswhileattendingsites.

Provideclearnotesexplainingwhatwasinspected,whatwasfound,whatactionwastakenandwhetherfurtherworkisrequired.

Manageandprioritiseanallocatedworkload,includingPPMsandreactivejobs.

Communicateprofessionallywithschoolstaff,caretakers,buildingusers,contractorsandcolleagues.

Completedynamicriskassessmentsandfollowpermit-to-workandsitesafetyprocedures.

Maintaintheworkvehicle,toolsandequipmentappropriately.

SupportcolleaguesacrossthewiderM&Eteamwherecompetent.

Mentorandsupporttheassignedapprentice.

EssentialqualificationsandexperienceMulti-SkilledBuildingServicesEngineer Candidatesmustbeabletoevidence:Multi-SkilledBuildingServicesEngineer NVQLevel3,City&Guildsoranequivalentrecognisedqualificationinplumbing,mechanicalengineeringorbuildingservices.

Substantialpracticalexperienceofcommercialplumbingandmechanicalmaintenance.

Experiencemaintainingheatingsystems,pumps,pressurisationunits,expansionvessels,calorifiersandassociatedplant.

Experiencedeliveringbothplannedandreactivemaintenance.

Strongfault-findingandproblem-solvingability.

Experienceworkingindependentlyinoccupiedbuildings.

AfullUKdrivinglicence.

Theabilityandwillingnesstomentoranapprentice. xwzovoh

CompetenceusingmobiledevicesorCAFMsystemstomaintainaccuratejobrecords.
