This is a senior technical role suited to someone who thrives on complex advisory work and enjoys supporting colleagues across a busy division.You'll work with a broad mix of clients including Legal Expenses Insurers, liability insurers, businesses, consumers and institutions, handling both claimant and respondent matters. The team is well structured, collaborative and known for its high technical standards.Reporting directly to the Group Leader and Partner, you'll play a key role in shaping best practice, offering strategic guidance and acting as a go to expert within the department.Key Responsibilities:Providing high level technical, strategic and practical advice on employment lawActing as a senior point of support for colleagues across the teamBuilding strong relationships with clients and delivering excellent serviceSetting and maintaining best practice standards in employment litigationHybrid working is available, with time split between home and the Bristol office.Candidate RequirementsEssential Skills & ExperienceFully qualified Solicitor, CILEX lawyer or equivalentSolid knowledge and technical expertise of employment lawStrong commercial awareness and a practical approach to problem solvingExperience working with both lay and insurer clientsConfident handling all aspects of employment litigationAbility to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectivelyDesirableExperience liaising with defendant insurer claims handlersWhy Join?You'll be joining a forward thinking, people focused firm that invests heavily in its teams and offers genuine opportunities for development.
