Project Manager – Industrial Automation
£50,000 - £80,000 DOE + Pension + Car Allowance
South Yorkshire. Project Values £20K - £3M

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of multiple high-value automation projects — leading cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
Project Manager - The Role:
Full project ownership — technical and commercial delivery from concept to handover
Lead client interactions and manage key stakeholder relationships throughout project lifecycle
Coordinate internal engineering teams, external contractors, and suppliers
Review technical proposals and bids, ensuring cost-effective solutions are put forward
Drive repeat business and long-term client partnerships through excellence in delivery
Oversee multiple projects across a range of sectors, from £20K to £3M in value
Project Manager - The Person:
You’re an experienced automation professional with a proven track record managing technical projects in fast-paced environments. You're commercially savvy, client-focused, and comfortable balancing priorities.
Proven experience delivering control and automation projects (PLC, SCADA, HMI, drives)
Experience working in or alongside a systems integrator
Strong knowledge of automation software platforms such as Rockwell, Siemens, Wonderware, Ignition
Experience across key industries: FMCG, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Utilities
Commercially aware with the ability to manage costs, timelines, and client expectations
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ambitious, technically credible, and self-driven
