Our client is an innovative energy business operating across grid consultancy, IDNO services, and private networks. They support customers through complex electricity connections, delivering efficient, forward-thinking solutions across residential, industrial, and renewable projects.

Following continued growth, they are expanding their grid consultancy team with a specialist hire.

The Role

As a Grid Consultant, you will provide expert technical, commercial, and regulatory advice on grid connections across both distribution and transmission. This is a client-facing position, supporting external customers and internal group businesses while managing projects through feasibility to pre-construction stages.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide expert grid advice across technical, commercial, and regulatory areas

- Manage grid connection processes for client portfolios

- Assess feasibility and produce connection applications and documentation

- Contribute to business development and maintain client relationships

- Stay up to date with regulatory changes (e.g. Connections Reform)

What We’re Looking For

- Strong knowledge of GB grid connections (distribution & transmission)

- Experience in grid connection xwzovoh management or consultancy

- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and connection processes

- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly

- Commercial awareness and problem-solving mindset

- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

- Salary: £55k - £75k + bonus
