Urgent Opportunity: Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator – Chesterfield Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm Holiday: 33 days including bank holidays Recruiter: Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join a dynamic and fast growing business based in Chesterfield. This is a key role within the supply chain team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of purchasing activities and make a direct impact on business performance. This position would suit someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys working with suppliers, and takes a proactive and hands on approach to their work. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of stock management to ensure consistent availability Analyse and maintain accurate pricing information Set up and manage purchase pricing within internal systems Raise, monitor and expedite purchase orders Coordinate transport and logistics with external hauliers Work closely with supply chain, operations and internal teams Ensure all supplier documentation including MSDS, COAs and compliance records are accurate and up to date Build and maintain strong supplier relationships through negotiation and collaboration About You Core Skills Strong organisational and planning skills Detail focused with a quality driven mindset Commercially aware with a proactive approach Excellent written and verbal communication skills Flexible, self motivated and able to work under pressure Experience and Knowledge Minimum of two years experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain Experience using ERP systems such as AX or similar Understanding of transport logistics and HSE regulations Engineering or manufacturing background preferred Practical and hands on approach Reporting Line Reports directly to the Product Group Leader Why Apply Join a supportive and fast paced supply chain team Opportunity to make a real and immediate impact Excellent working hours with early finish on Fridays Stable long term opportunity with immediate start available If you are ready to take the next step in your procurement career, contact Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd today
