The Role
We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Science Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4. This full-time role begins in September 2026 and has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for planning and delivering dynamic and engaging Science lessons that spark curiosity, develop scientific thinking, and build confidence.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach high-quality and engaging Science lessons
• Support student progress, development, and well-being
• Work collaboratively with the school’s science department and wider teaching team
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Follow school policies and effective behaviour management strategies
What We’re Looking For
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge in Science and effective teaching practices
• Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
• A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
