The Firm

A well-established and highly regarded regional law firm with a strong presence across the Midlands is seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join its growing Employment team. The firm is known for delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice to a diverse client base, including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and individuals.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to develop a broad employment law practice within a supportive and collaborative team. You will work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers on a varied caseload, gaining exposure to both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Advising employers and employees on a wide range of employment law matters
• Assisting with Employment Tribunal claims, including drafting pleadings and preparing bundles
• Supporting on disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
• Providing commercially focused, practical advice to clients
• Participating in business development and networking activities

Candidate Requirements

• Newly Qualified Solicitor (or due to qualify shortly) with a seat in Employment Law
• Strong technical knowledge of UK employment law
• Excellent drafting and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service
• Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
• A team player xwzovoh with a willingness to learn and develop
