Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Edinburgh for a Chartered Structural Engineer. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing efficient and sustainable structural solutions, performing detailed calculations using advanced software, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Qualifications

• Proficiency in structural analysis and design using advanced design software
• SER Certifier (ESSENTIAL)
• Experienced in preparing clear, compliant, and accurate structural calculations
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and sustainable design principles
• Strong technical skills in structural engineering for a diverse range of projects
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach
• Excellent communication and technical report-writing skills
• Experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Chartered status with a relevant professional body, such as ICE or IStructE, required
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in the construction and built environment sector is a plus
