The Role
As an Automotive Technical Specialist, you will be at the heart of complex diagnostic repair cases. You won’t just fix what’s broken; you’ll tackle issues demanding deep technical insight and structured thinking. This role involves analysing root causes, connecting missing signals, and designing lasting solutions for ambiguous and unique technical puzzles.
Your Daily Impact:
- Resolve Requests: Deliver high-quality diagnostic and repair support to ensure regional customer satisfaction.
- Monitor Success: Oversee the repair process, reporting on gaps and advising on performance improvements.
- Quality Control: Review existing processes and report on dealer performance regarding escalated cases.
- Coach & Mentor: Communicate with retailer staff to find root causes for technical deviations and prevent future support needs.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong connections with retailers and customers to improve functional effectiveness.
- Documentation: Record complex technical issues for the central organisation to build a global knowledge base.
About You
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced automotive engineer with a passion for vehicles and exceptional customer service.
You are the ideal candidate if you:
- Are trained and certified to Master Technician status (or equivalent).
- Possess advanced electrical diagnosis skills and experience.
- Have High Voltage / EV experience (highly desirable).
- Can investigate and diagnose complex vehicle systems both "hands-on" and remotely.
- Thrive in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Maintain a proactive "can-do" attitude.
