Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Subcontractor to support ongoing works within the social housing sector. Working with a range of established housing associations across the North West, this role offers consistent, local work within the advertised area, minimising travel while providing long-term opportunity. The position also includes a company van, fuel card, and the opportunity to gain additional qualifications.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Carrying out electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance within domestic social housing properties
* Completing EICRs and associated remedial works
* Diagnosing faults and ensuring timely resolution
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with current regulations and safety standards
* Maintaining accurate records of work completed
Skills and Qualifications Required
* Strong domestic experience, ideally within social housing environments
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
* AM2 qualification
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Willingness to complete 2391 Testing and Inspection (funded within the first 6 months)
* Full UK driving licence
