We are seeking someone for this role who has clear experience in a simliar role as an essential.
Will Writing Services
- Drafting Wills and related documents based on instructions received from clients via email, telephone, or meetings (in person or via video call).
- Discussing instructions and responding to queries from clients and their advisers through correspondence and meetings, including handling technical queries where required.
- Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date records relating to Wills.
- Processing payments for Will‑writing services.
- Managing queries and correspondence relating to cancelled or inoperative Will appointments.
- Conducting reviews of existing Wills.
Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
- Preparing LPAs based on client instructions.
- Discussing instructions and responding to queries from clients, their families, and advisers through correspondence and meetings.
- Registering, handling, and supervising the appointment of a corporate attorney under an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA), including all associated matters.
- Assisting with reviews of existing LPAs.
Executorships
Managing executorship cases from initial notification of death through to completion of the estate administration process, including:
- Meeting with family members, arranging property insurance, appointing solicitors, and preparing information required for probate applications.
- Liaising with investment managers and financial planning teams as appropriate.
- Advising families and beneficiaries on inheritance tax matters.
- Making distributions, settling liabilities including payments to HMRC, collecting in assets, and preparing allocation statements, estate accounts, and R185 certificates.
- Ensuring thorough and accessible record‑keeping.
- Building and maintaining strong family relationships.
- Identifying opportunities to retain assets and develop new business
Experience:
It is essential you have simliar experience in another role, understanding technical elements of Wills, Probate, Estates etc.
If you have started your STEP qualification, great, if not - they will fund this qualification.
Experience in client contact, face to face. xwzovoh
For this role you do need a full driving license and vehicle for occasional meetings.
