Role: Application Owner
Contract: 6 months
Payrate: £ 400 per day via PAYE
Location: Chiswick, London
Mode: Hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
-Ownership of the Provys system includes:
- Ensure the production platform is working efficiently
- Manage operational security e.g. renewing application web certificates
- Manage requests for new workflows or change on existing ones, logged and tracked in our Jira workspace/ Service Now
- Manage problems from an ITIL perspective
- Oversee production incidents
- Be the main point of contact with the vendor: Provys Technologies
- Follow-up the budget related to the Provys platform for both “Business as Usual” run costs, or evolution costs
- Maintains the Provys documentation patrimony up to date, and especially documents required by the support team or training materials.
- Working closely with QA Team creation of repository for testing scenarios in place for further QA Testing campaigns, as well as drive QA Testing campaigns in close collaboration with our QA Team
- Assist with complex incident / issues troubleshooting
- Be part of the global Application platform evolution
- Identify and work on any valuable changes that imply the Provys platform
- Manage lifecycle of Provys platform.
- Ensure efficient and robust monitoring tooling, coherent with what we have on the other application platforms (ELK)
- Engaging with business users and stakeholders across the TNT Sports UK business to understand business processes
- Gathering requirements, assessing customizations, assist with co-ordination and perform IT testing
- Analyzing configuration requests and coordinating User Acceptance Testing for projects
- Collaborate with Production Run Ops, Architecture, Developers and engineering teams for migrations, customizations and upgrade projects
- Be part of the Global support team as Subject Matter Expert and point of contact for any major issue raised by the support team. xwzovoh
- During Major events, you may be involved in on call duty organization (7 days a week), as Level 3 support line (Subject matter expert level)
Requirements:
- Clear communication and palatability to write clear documentation when required
- Good organizational skills
- Independent self-starter who can work unsupervised, proactive, and problem-solving aptitude
- Remains calm under pressure
- Flexibility in accepting new and changing responsibilities, as well as strong personal initiative and resourcefulness
- Take ownership of, and accountability for responsibilities.
- Excellent people and interpersonal skills, good team player
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to different demands on short notice
- High levels of initiative, motivation and time management
- Keen to learn new systems and applications
- Experience and enthusiasm for Live Sports, TV Industry or a related industry an advantage
- Good experience with Provys would be an advantage
