Management Accountant

Location: Chester
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hybrid working: Up to 2 days working from home

An established and growing organisation is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a hands-on role offering broad exposure across month-end reporting, controls, audit support and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Bank reconciliations and month-end close
Stock accounting and balance sheet reporting
Financial analysis and reporting to support business performance
Supporting and reviewing transactional finance teams
Liaison with auditors and support of audit processes
Payroll coordination and quarterly xwzovoh VAT returns

About You

Experience working as a Management Accountant or similar
Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment
AAT Qualified / ACCA or CIMA Part Qualified or QBE
