Recruit A Driver are currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Day Driver for general haulage work based in Scunthorpe.

This role offers consistent daytime hours with a mix of local trailer swaps and multi-drop deliveries, all within approximately a 2-hour radius of Scunthorpe.

Youll be working with curtainsider trailers, ensuring safe and efficient deliveries while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

• Complete general haulage deliveries and collections
• Carry out trailer swaps and/or multi-drop runs
• Ensure loads are secure and transported safely
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete paperwork
• Provide a professional service to customers

• £16.50 per hour
• Day shifts only no nights out
• Local work (within 2-hour radius)
• Ongoing, consistent work
• No pump truck required
• Well-organised operation

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• CPC & Digital Tachograph card
• Experience with curtainsider work preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations

• Start time: 06:30
• Finish time: approx. xwzovoh 18:00
• Mix of trailer swaps and multi-drop runs
• Curtainsider work only
