My client is hiring a Senior Procurement Manager to support a major programme, focusing on vehicle MRO within a multi billion pound environment.

This role is focused on category strategy across vehicle, engine and generator MRO. The remit is to define the approach and make sure it is delivered, not get pulled into day to day activity.

Responsibilities:

Drive category strategy across vehicle, engine and generator MRO

Work across maintenance and repair contracts in a complex public sector setting

Turn strategy into clear actions across commercial teams

Support tenders and auctions from a strategic perspective

Work within a project led programme environment

Engage with engineering and workshop stakeholders

Keep activity moving and remove blockers

Requirements:

Experience across MRO, ideally vehicles, engines or similar

Background in defence, engineering or large public sector environments is useful

Ability to develop and deliver category strategy

Strong understanding of xwzovoh maintenance and repair contracts

Comfortable working in operational environments including workshops

Able to influence stakeholders and drive progress

Details:

Initial 6 month contract
