Tripod are recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in Stornoway, Western Isles.

Role – Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist

Location – Western Isles

Rate – £32-£35 an hour

Hours – Full time

Contract – Start in May for 3 months with potential extension

• Hand Therapy experience desirable NOT essential

• Travel Paid to and from the Western Isles

• We are looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist who must have experience of working clinically at band 6 level or above in the NHS.

• A driving licence is essential but there is access to a pool vehicle for domiciliary visits.

• If the locum brings their own vehicle, business mileage will be reimbursed at NHS Agenda for Change rates.

• Any candidate will require a valid PVG and must have current HCPC registration.

The position is to provide predominantly out-patient Occupational Therapy with some in-patient and domiciliary visits.

• Experience in treating a variety of rheumatology, hand conditions management including splinting and neurological conditions is essential. xwzovoh

• The service is provided across the Western Isles and travel for a clinic in the Southern Isles may be needed.
